Amazon selling 10-pack of disposable dehumidifiers for £13 that 'last months' and get 'visible results' - Birmingham Live
Amazon was selling a 10-pack of disposable dehumidifiers that 'last months' and get 'visible results'. The Ansio dehumidifiers would usually cost £13.98, but Amazon was now offering seven per cent off, slashing the price by £1.
For £12.98, shoppers could get their hands on the products, which were designed to remove dampness and humidity from the air. The disposable dehumidifier tubs contained hydrophilic crystals which were specifically formulated to help combat condensation.
According to the product description, the dehumidifier tubs also helped tackle damp rooms, allergens in the air, mould, mildew and odours. They were ideal for kitchens, bathrooms, living rooms, bedrooms, basements, caravans, boats, garages or in any place where excess moisture was causing a problem.

She added: "They work well and are good value." Chris said: "I used a couple of these inside my BMW convertible as mould was beginning to grow inside it due to it standing. These saved the build up of moisture and solved my issue."

A four-star review for the dehumidifier tubs read: "I've been using these now for well over a year, trying to tackle condensation in my conservatory, they have helped a lot but not completely eliminated the problem. I now have them in every bedroom." They said the 10-pack lasted them "several months" and provided "visible results", however the tubs were "unattractive" and had an "annoying sticker" which was "difficult to remove".

Julie said: "I buy these disposable dehumidifiers every year as I live in a very old property with single glazing. I position them in the gap between the window and the secondary glazing. They do not get rid of all of the moisture but based on the amount of water they collect, they definitely make a difference."
Mary's review read: "Although these dehumidifiers are small, they can be put in awkward places such as under the sink, near the toilet, in the summerhouse. I’ve used these Ansio dehumidifiers before and they took a lot of moisture out of the atmosphere once they had been in place for about a week. They lasted several months before the crystals were all absorbed."
