- As Baron Corbin entered the arena being confronted by most of the NXT Locker Room, Vic Joseph & Wade Barrett welcomed the audience to the broadcast before transitioning into the opening segment.
- Baron Corbin came to the ring to cut a promo addressing his attack on NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes last week. Corbin admitted that he never thought he would ever return to NXT, but then complained about how many call-ups come in as if they were the biggest deal around while the "OGs" were the ones that carried FCW into the NXT that is today. Corbin said that he would prove that the roster is weak.
Corbin was interrupted by Ilja Dragunov before telling Corbin that he was not soft & weak, but rather that he was the most animalistic man in NXT before calling himself the first in line for the title. Corbin touted his previous success, but Dragunov did not care about his achievements and said that he would not mind whooping Corbin. Corbin said that he was the biggest star in NXT, but Dragunov said that he wanted him to prove it. The two agreed to a match later in the night. After that, Trick Williams attacked Corbin from behind before clotheslining him out of the ring.
- Thea Hail was walking out of a training center hurt after training with Drew Gulak & Charlie Dempsey. Duke Hudson talked to Hail afterward and told Hail that he cannot crunch someone over the top rope, but Hail told him to not worry because she would win the Battle Royal.
- Bron Breakker attacked Ilja Dragunov backstage, calling Dragunov out for saying he was the toughest man in NXT. Breakker was stopped when producers and referees got involved.
Julius Creed & Rip Fowler locked up before Julius hit a Fireman's Carry takedown on Fowler Julius got a wrist lock on Fowler, but Fowler gauged his eyes before backing him into the corner. Reid tagged in and went for a Ripcord Lariat, but Julius reversed it with three waist lock takedowns and a knee drop onto Reid's ribs. Julius & Brutus laid in knee strikes on Reid's abdomen before Julius tagged back in, but Reid caught him with a forearm before going for a suplex, but Julius responded with a deadlift Suplex stand on Reid before handing him off to Brutus. Brutus continued to hold Reid in a suplex before handing him off to Julius, who spiked Reid with a Vertical Spulex. Reid went for a Monkey Flip, but Julius landed on his feet before hitting a dropkick on Reid. Reid laid out Julius before Raine tagged in. Raine slapped Julius before Nile came to the ring and confronted Raine, but Raine tagged Fowler back in. Fowler & Julius ran the ropes before Brutus tagged in and hit an Ax-Handle, a military Press Slam & a Standing Moonsault on Reid. Brutus hit a Reverse Iconoplasm on Julius onto Reid before Julius tossed Nile into a leaping Swanton Bomb on Reid. As if that was not enough, Nile then got Brutus and Suplexed him onto Reid for the roar of the crowd ahead of the commercial break.
Back from the break, The Schism dominated proceedings before Julius tagged in and came in like. ahouse on fire. Julius hit a moonsault on The Dyad. Brutus hit a Brutus Ball on Fowler before Julius clubbed Fowler with a lariat. Nile & Raine tagged into the match before the two started exchanging forearm strikes. Nile laid in the kicks on Raine before hitting a Running Thrust Kick on Raine, but Rain responded with a Question Mark Kick. Raine locked in the Dragon Sleeper on Raine, but Reid broke the hold before Nile locked in the Dragon Sleeper on Reid. After making Reid pass out, Raine saw the referee was distracted before catching Nile with a headbutt with a plastic mask before getting the win on Nile.
- Backstage, Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo visited Tony D’Angelo in the prison. Stacks said that he was trying to find who the rat was that put him into the cell, which impressed D’Angelo. D’Angelo told D’Angelo to trust his gut because he believed it was Gallus. D’Angelo told Stacks that he was the under-boss, to solve the issue.
- Von Wagner & Mr. Stone went to the therapist. They showed a vignette of Von Wagner telling. therapist to "Go Fuck yourself" and choke out another therapist ahead of his third therapist. Wagner was about to abandon the session, but that the therapist was revealed to be a female. Wagner went on with he session.
Palmer & Davenport locked up before the two exchanged slaps. Davenport slammed Palmer into the corner before slamming her onto the mat with a facebuster and kicking her out of the ring. Back in the ring, Davenport hit a forearm strike on Palmer before hitting a gut-buster on Palmer. before slamming her with a waist-lock takeover. Palmer went for a Schoolboy on Davenport, but Davenport kicked out and dropped Palmer before catching her with a knee lift to the abdomen. Davenport kicked Palmer in the ribs before blasting a forearm on Palmer, but Palmer responded with an uppercut and a double knee strike on Davenport. Palmer claimed. to the top rope, but Davenport slammed her with an Iconoplasm before hitting the Gamogoye & the Broken Arrow for the pinfall win.
- Dana Brooke was in the NXT Parking Lot, where she revealed that she would take part in the NXT Battle Royal later in the night.
- NXT Women's Champion Tiffany Stratton was interviewed backstage, with Stratton saying that she was not surprised that Brooke was in the match but come one, come all. Stratton said that Lyra Valkyria was the only one that could win but it did not matter to her because she would retain the gold either way.
The match began with Corbin hitting a knee lift on Williams before catching him with an Irish Whip into a lariat on Williams. Williams responded with a series of jabs, but Corbin dropped him before hitting an Irish Whip into a corner splash on Williams. Williams hit two more jabs before running the ropes, but Corbin caught him with a back elbow. Corbin went for another corner splash, but Williams evaded before firing away with jabs, hitting a drop kick and a Pop-Up Jab on Corbin to send him to the outside.
During the break, Corbin & Williams brawled on the outside before Williams sent Corbin back into the ring. Corbin kicked the middle rope onto Williams's groin before hitting a jab and a Back Suplex on Williams for a near fall. Corbin locked a chin lock on Williams, but Williams broke the hold and got a near fall on Corbin. Williams hit a Snap Suplex on Corbin before laying in the punches on Corbin for another near fall, to which he quickly responded by locking in a headlock on Corbin, but Corbin broke the hold with a back suplex. Corbin hit the Anvil Elbows on Williams before locking in another chin lock.
Back from the break, Williams broke the hold and jabbed Corbin the face before tossing Corbin outside with a knee lift. Williams slammed Corbin onto the broadcast table and went for a kick, but Williams went knee-first into the table. Corbin saw the opening and started working on Williams's knee before sending him into the steel stairs. Back in the ring, Corbin stomped Williams's knee before hitting a Spinebuster into a Single Leg Crab on Williams before Williams got a rope break. Williams caught Corbin with an upkick before hitting a series of body shots, a series of jabs, a dropkick, a headbutt, a jumping lariat, and a Neck Breaker on Corbin for a near fall. Corbin went for a Chokeslam on Williams, but Williams caught him with a kick before going for a Tornado Kick, but Corbin hit the Deep Six on Williams for a near fall. Corbin went for a Shoulder Block, but Williams evaded before firing away with jabs on Corbin. Williams went for the Tornado Kick, but his knee buckled before Corbin hit the End of Days on Williams for the pinfall win.
- Nathan Frazer hosted the third ever "Hard Hitting Home Truths" detailing the fallout of NXT Battleground. Dragon Lee was the International Correspondent of the show Five Names for Noam Dar's new group. Frazer called Dar a fraud before challenging him for the NXT Heritage Cup.
- Mustafa Ali was interviewed backstage, with Ali saying that he can show up wherever he wants and said that his next chapter would be "Mustafa Ali In A Champion". NXT North American Champion Wes Lee was going to offer Ali a title shot, but Ali said that he wanted to earn his shot instead of winning an Open Challenge.
Ali & Gacy began the match locking up before Ali got a headlock on Gacy, but Gacy responded with a vicious shoulder tackle. Ali leaped overGacy and hit a Hurricanrana on Gacy. Gacy tossed Ali onto the Apron with a Bandera Toss before pushing him off the apron. Back in the ring, Gacy got a sleeper on Ali, but Ali responded with a chop before Gacy planted Ali with a Uranage for a near fall. Ali landed on his feet off Gacy's back suplex, but Gacy caught him wit a DDT for a near fall. Ali got to the corner and caught Gacy with an enziguri before hitting a Rolling Neck Breaker on Gacy. Ali & Gacy got to the top rope before Ali hit a Sunset Bomb on Gacy. Ali climbed to the top rope and hit a 450 Splash on Gacy to get the pinfall win.
The Dyad (Rip Fowler & Jagger Reid) attacked Ali from behind, but Tyler Bate & Wes Lee made the save.
- Edris Enofe argued with Brooks Jensen & Josh Briggs for causing Malik Blade wanting to fight him. Gallus confronted Blade & Enofe before saying that there was no way they can win the titles. Blade & Enofe agreed to have a match against each other next week. Enofe asked Siri when was Malik Blade's birthday.
- NXT Heritage Cup Champion Noam Dar was interviewed backstage. Dar put over Lash Legend, Jakara Jackson & Oro Mensah before accepting a Nathan Frazer's challenge for the belt.
Kemp & Thorpe locked up before Kemp leaned Thorpe into the ropes. Thorpe locked in a headlock takeover on Kemp, but Kemp hit a body shot to break the hold before the LA Dojo Alumni hit a Twisting Crossbody on Kemp. Thorpe leaped over Kemp, but Kemp caught him and hit a Rolling DVD on Thorpe for a near fall. Thorpe went for a chop on Kemp, but Kemp evaded before hitting a Belly-to-Belly Toss on Thorpe. Kemp hit a Back Breaker on Thorpe, an ode to Roderick Strong. Kemp then locked in a chin lock on Thorpe, but Thorpe broke the hold by hitting a series of body shots on Kemp before hitting a chop, two back elbows, a gut kick, a Pele Kick, and a Running Elbow Drop on Kemp for a near fall. Thorpe went for a Guillotine Choke, but Kemp leaned into the referee before Thorpe hit a German Suplex on Kemp into the corner for the pinfall win. Kemp's foot was on the rope during the pin, but the referee did not see it.
- Gigi Dolin called her brother backstage but was interrupted by Kiana James. James talked trash to Dolin, but Dolin promised to toss James over the top rope before Dabba-Kato got in front of the camera to stop the conversation.
SCRYPTS evaded Kato's lariat before catching him with a series of jabs, but Kato responded with a hammer strike on SCRYPTS's back. SCRYPTS hit a chop on Kato, but Kato responded with a Running Boot before slamming him with two body slams. Dabba-Kato got SCRYPTS in a Bear Hug before vealing him to the outside. Outside of the ring, Dabba-Kato hit a chop on SCRYPTS before getting him up, but Axiom distracted Dabba-Kato. Dabba-Kato got SCRYPTS back in the ring before going for a Choke Bomb on SCRYPTS, but Axiom distracted Dabba-Kato. SCRYPTS caught Dabba-Kato with a Forearm strike before slamming him into the corner and locking in a Schoolboy Roll-Up on Dabba-Kato for the pinfall win. Dabba-Kato laid the two out after the match.
- Joe Gacy threw a tantrum backstage, with Gacy promising to end the friendship of Ali, Bate & Lee next week. The Dyad & Ava Raine celebrated that they won later in the night, but Gacy said that he needed to redirect himself back on track.
- Mustafa Ali spoke with Tyler Bate & Wes Lee backstage. Ali said that the two had something special together before suggesting that they should have a match. The two agreed to it and promised to compromise to beat The Schism.
Everyone brawled in the center of the ring to begin the match. Legend hit the Giant Swing on Jordan before tossing her onto Jade. Jayne hit a rolling forearm on Barlow to send her to the outside for the first elimination. Brooke booted Jackson off the apron, but Oro Mensah held her to bring her back in the ring while Jade tossed former UFC Fighter Lola Vice to the outside for the second elimination. Dolin & James brawled on the apron before James pulled Dolin into the ring post to eliminate her from the match. Legend hit a lariat to send Jordan before trying to toss her into the ring post, but Jordan rolled through before Jackon hit a Leg Sweep to drop Jordan off the apron for elimination. Mensah caught Jackson again but dropped her after Hail hit him with a moonsault, eliminating Jackson from the match. Legend attacked Hail afterward, but she was later eliminated by Feroz & Leon. Legend & Jackson attacked Leon & Feroz.
During the break, Valkyria booted Lopez off the apron to eliminate her from the match. Brooke fired away with forearm strikes on Paxley in the corner while Jayne & Jade double-teamed Valkyria in the corner. Back from the break, Blair Davenport watched the match from ringside. Perez hit uppercuts on James & Jyane before hitting a Russian Leg Sweep on Jade. Perez rolled out of the ring and hit a Thesz Press on Davenport before going for Pop Rox, but Paxley pulled Perez before hitting a crossbody on Perez, eliminating herself from the match. Paxley & Davenport brought Perez back into the ring before Jayne tossed Perez for the elimination, but was greeted with an enziguri kick by Valkyria. Valkyria dropped Jade & Henleo before Jayne attempted to toss Valkyria out. of the ring, but Valkyria skimmed the cat before tossing Jayne out of the ring with the Tijeras. Valkyria tried to get back in the ring, but was caught with a shotgun dropkick from Jade to eliminate her. Henley fired away with strikes on everyone before she hit a Blockbuster on Jade before Henley hit a backdrop on James to eliminate her from the match. Jade & Henley exchanged lariats before Brooke caught them with lariats, back flip elbows strikes. Henley went for the Tijeras on Brooke, but Jade dumped Henley out of the ring. Like a little Gremlin, Hail rose back into the ring and caught Brooke with a forearm strike but that was until Jade tossed Hail onto the apron. Brooke hit a Neck breaker on Hail, but Jade caught her with a Rising Knee Strike, but Hail dumped Jade & Brooke out of the ring for the win. Hail celebrated with Chase University & The Cavinder Twins.
- Bron Breakker cut a promo leaving the arena before calling out WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins to a match. Breakker told Rollisn to come to NXT to defend the title against him to end the broadcast.
